Held in late November of each year, the Canadian Western Agribition is a can't-miss event. Especially great for those who enjoy the rodeo, the Canadian Western Agribition features more than 4,000 livestock on display, agriculture exhibits and demonstrations, and horse shows.
The Mid-Winter Celtic Festival is held annually in February, and it's a real treat. Featuring an array of events, live music and dances, and plenty of food, the Mid-Winter Celtic Festival should certainly be on your travel agenda.
A majority of the Mid-Winter Celtic Festival events take place at the Cornwall Centre, thought some of the opening events, like the Friday Pub Session at The Legion, and the Mid-Winter Ceilidh – be sure to check out the Royal Canadian Legion, and The Exchange music venue.
Later in the year, visitors often enjoy the sights – and especially the sounds – at Springfest Canada. Usually held across the last weekend in May at various Regina venues, Springfest Canada is one of the premier music events in the province.
The first day of the event is a jazz competition with bands competing. Day two features a concert band showdown with 60 of the best high school bands from the region. And day three is the annual Field Show at Taylor Field.
Enjoy the best locally grown produce, hand-made wares, and fresh made food at the Regina Farmer's Market. May 2nd through October 10th, you'll find this impressive farmer's market at City Square Plaza, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
