Make the Most of Your Stay in Regina
Make the most of your next visit to Saskatchewan with a stay in Regina. This capital city features a wealth of premier attractions – from the lakes and hiking trails, to the winter snowing and cultural celebrations, you're sure to find adventure in Regina.
The Regina Globe Theatre is the place to be for live, staged entertainment. You'll discover a wide range of excellent plays and musicals to view at The Globe.
You can learn all about the Aboriginal communities and people who inhabited the land during Regina's infancy at the First Nations Gallery – it's just one of the many excellent exhibitions at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.
During a winter visit, be sure to hit the slopes at Mission Ridge Winter Park, where you'll find 14 runs to ski. The Wascana Valley Nature Recreation Site features some exceptional snowshoeing paths during the winter months, too.
Spring and summer visits should yield a day at the lake – take your boat out on the water at Katepwa Point Provincial Park. You can also fish, swim, and hike at Katepwa Lake.
There are also a number of excellent and must-see festivals and events in Regina. Don't miss the Canadian Western Agribition in November, where you'll see rodeos, more than 4,000 livestock on display, and farming equipment demonstrations.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 2nd through October 10th, you'll have a chance to explore the Regina Farmer's Market at City Square Plaza. Check out an impressive selection of hand-made wares, locally grown produce, and plenty more.
