Prince Albert is known as the "Gateway to the North," and is the third largest city in Saskatchewan. Located on the North Saskatchewan River and surrounded by lush parks, pristine lakes and and full forests, Prince Albert is home to an abundance of wildlife. Guests of the Best Western hotel in Prince Albert enjoy spending time with the Right Honourable John & Olive Diefenbaker Museum, and the Evolution of Education Museum. History buffs often feel right at home at the Prince Albert Historical Museum, and the Rotary Museum of Police & Corrections. Prince Albert features some fine art, as well. Be sure to visit the Art Gallery of Prince Albert. Prince Albert certainly has a strong art and history scene, but it's got a bit more up it's sleeves.
Traveling with children? Be sure to take them out for an afternoon at the Prince Albert National Park for a nice picnic. Covering 3,874 square kilometres in central Saskatchewan, this national park is a gateway to Christopher Lake, and Emma Lake. During the summer, visit Sunnyside Beach for a nice cool-down and splash-about. Whether it's business or pleasure, be sure to visit Prince Albert.
